At Harvard, Anna collaborated with composer, Mateo Lincoln, and music director, Colton Carter, to stage a world premiere.

In the fall of 2019, Anna directed “The Tempest: A New Musical” which was composed by friend and collaborator, Mateo Lincoln. It was performed in an art gallery and the characters engaged with live-painting throughout the piece. At the end of each show, a different “footprint” of paint remained and the show investigated themes of colonialism, enslavement, and the question of what/who is left behind.

Land Acknowledgement: This play was rehearsed and performed on the native land of the Massachusett Tribe.
